Under the guidance of the wardens, women at St Michael’s and St Paul’s Churches run soup kitchens out of their homes in the Crags and at Covey respectively. A soup kitchen is operated out of the kitchen at St Monica’s Church in Kwanokuthula, and food is distributed at St Chad’s and St Simon’s to children, the elderly and others in need at Harkerville and Kranshoek.

“Father of everlasting compassion, you see your children growing up in an uncertain and confusing world: show them the path of life, enable them to triumph over failure and frustration, to hold fast their faith in you and to keep alive their joy in your creation, through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
